Graduate Opportunity - Recruitment Resourcer in Healthcare
Servoca Nursing & Care now have an exciting opportunity for new Uni graduates in Liverpool & Chester due to internal promotions!
What is a Recruitment Resourcer?
Servoca Nursing & Care as the name suggests operate within the private healthcare sector supplying temporary care and nursing staff cover to care homes.
The role of a Recruitment Resourcer is to search for new healthcare and nursing candidates to add to our existing pool of staff using a number of different tools and techniques. This could range from using online job boards such as this one, using social media or simply spreading the message by word of mouth; really the world is your oyster and you can take unlimited different approaches to it. You will learn to conduct telephone and face to face interviews, how to manage candidate trackers and be able to form strong relationships with people who are in the application process.
Whilst you will be based from our Liverpool Office an integral part of this role would require travelling to and conducting job centre interview days twice a week in Chester and North Wales in order for you to see your candidates in person and form a relationship with them.
What makes a good Recruitment Resourcer?
A good Recruiter requires a good understanding of the following skills and ability to display them quickly;
1 Ability to form relationships and build rapport quickly to achieve buy in from a candidate.
2 High level of confidence! This is essential in forming trust from your potential candidate and generating excitement to join us.
3 Ability to listen. Key to understanding what makes your candidate tick and feeling of welcome.
4 Target Driven. You will have monthly targets to achieve so being able to use these as motivation is a great start.
5 Speed & patience in equal measure. You may be short of time and so the ability to work fast will go a long way whilst displaying patience with candidates. Nobody likes to be hurried along.
6 Marketing and use of social media. The modern day Recruiter must be able to use new technology and pathways to locate and identify pools of potential new staff. If you love Twitter and Facebook this could be right for you.
7 Resilience! You have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince as the saying goes. There will be a lot of no’’s and people who don’’t turn up for interview. How you deal with this will be essential to staying motivated and being able to pick yourself back up again.
