What is Revalidation?
Revalidation is the process that all nurses and midwives in the UK need to follow to maintain their registration with the Nursing and Midwifery council (NMC). It promotes good practice and encourages a culture of sharing, reflection and improvement.
By following this process it helps nurses and midwives to continually develop and reflect on their practice and encourages them to reflect on the role of The Code, which is the professional standards of practice and behaviour for nurses, midwives and nursing associates.
How do I revalidate?
